Nickel ammonium sulfates A green, crystalline compound, soluble in water; used as a nickel electrolyte for electroplating. Also known as ammonium nickel sulfate; solid nickel salt. [synonyms] Ammonium nickel(+2) sulfate hexahydrate; ammonium nickel sulphate 6-hydrate; nickel ammonium sulfate; ammonium nickel sulfate-6-hydrate; di-ammonium nickel(ii) sulphate 6-hydrate; nickelous ammonium sulfate; ammonium nickel sulfate hexahydrate; nickel(ii) ammonium sulfate hexahydrate; Diammonium nickel disulfate hexahydrate. [properties] Compound formula:h20n2nio14s2 Molecular weight :394.99 Appearance :green crystalline solid Nickel ammonium sulfate is a green crystalline solid. Mildly toxic, carcinogenic. When heated to decomposition it emits highly toxic fumes of metallic nickel, oxides of sulfur, and oxides of nitrogen. The primary hazard is the threat to the environment.Immediate steps should be taken to limit its spread to the environment. It is used for electroplating nickel
Nickel carbonate Green crystals that melting at 56c (decomposes); soluble in acid, insoluble in water; used in electroplating, as a catalyst production for organic chemical manufacture, petroleum refining and edible oil hardening. From the industrial perspective, the most important nickel carbonate is basic nickel carbonate with the formula ni4co3(oh)6(h2o)4. Simpler carbonates, ones more likely encountered in the laboratory, are nico3 and its hexahydrate. All are paramagnetic green solid containing ni2+ cations. The basic carbonate is an intermediate in the hydrometallurgical purification of nickel from its ores and is used in electroplating of nickel. Synonyms Nickel(2+) carbonate; carbonic acid, nickel salt, basic; nickelous carbonate; nickel(ii) carbonate; Carbonic acid, nickel(2+) salt (1:1); nickel monocarbonate; basic nickel(ii) carbonate; nickel(2+) carbonate

Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance at higher temperatures, with good resistance in carburizing and chloride containing environments. Alloy 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy designed for use from cryogenic to elevated temperatures in the range of 1093. The high nickel content of the alloy enables it to retain considerable resistance under reducing conditions and makes it resistant to corrosion by a number of organic and inorganic compounds. The nickel content gives it excellent resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking and also provides excellent resistance to alkaline solutions. Its chromium content gives the alloy resistance to sulfur compounds and various oxidizing environments. The chromium content of the alloy makes it superior to commercially pure nickel under oxidizing conditions. In strong oxidizing solutions like hot, concentrated nitric acid, 600 has poor resistance. Alloy 600 is relatively un-attacked by the majority of neutral and alkaline salt solutions and is used in some caustic environments. The alloy resists steam and mixtures of steam, air and carbon dioxide. Alloy 600 is non-magnetic, has excellent mechanical properties and a combination of high strength and good workability and is readily weldable. Inconel 600 exhibits cold forming characteristics normally associated with chromium-nickel stainless steels. Typical corrosion applications include titanium dioxide production (chloride route), perchlorethylene syntheses, vinyl chloride monomer (VCM), and magnesium chloride. Alloy 600 is used in chemical and food processing, heat treating, phenol condensers, soap manufacture, vegetable and fatty acid vessels and many more.
Pure nickel has good mechanical strength,corrosion-resistant and heat-resistance strength. It is widely used in electric apparatus, chemical machinery, ood processing equipment, rechargeable batteriesomputers, cellular Phone, power tools, camcorders and so on. Product Parameters Size dimension range: Wire: 0.025-10mm Ribbon: 0.05*0.2-0.5*6.0mm Strip: (0.05-0.5)*(5-200) Pure Nickel series: N4 N6 Nickel 201 Nickel 200 characteristic 1. It has weldability, high conductivity and suitable linear expansion coefficient 2. The strength is better and the resistivity is lower at high temperature 3. It has high melting point, corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties. It has good pressure processability in hot and cold state, easy to remove gas, and is suitable for radio, electric light source, mechanical manufacturing and chemical industry. It is an important structural material in vacuum electronic devices. Pure nickel wire can be divided into N4 and N6 according to the material. N4 pure nickel wire That is, N4 nickel wire, also known as nickel 4. N4 nickel wire has good mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and high heat resistance strength, and is suitable for making vacuum devices, electronic instrument components, chemical production of strong alkali filter screen, etc. N4 pure nickel wire is suitable for radio, electric light source, mechanical manufacturing and chemical industry, and is an important structural material in vacuum electronic devices. N6 pure nickel wire That is N6 nickel wire. Also known as No. 6 nickel, it is a kind of pure nickel wire. The characteristics of N6 nickel wire: in addition to the physical and chemical properties of metal nickel, N6 nickel wire has strong alkali resistance, neutral and weak acid resistance, and has stable performance in the atmosphere, fresh water and sea water.
