Coco peat, also known as coir pith, is the fibrous material that is obtained from the outer husk of coconut shells. It is increasingly being used as a growing medium in horticulture and agriculture due to its many beneficial properties. Coir fibre is the major product that is extracted from the coconut husk. Coir fibres have a multitude of different applications and they are available in blocks and bales as well.
