Indonesia is the world's top producer of coconuts. In 2021, it was estimated that Indonesia produced around 2.77 million tons of coconut with it's derivative products such as Crude Coconut Oil (CNO), Cooking Oil (RBD CNO), Copra, Coconut Briquette Charcoal, Coconut Fiber, Coconut Peat (Cocopeat / Coco Peat), Desiccated Coconut, Virgin Coconut Oil, and Copra Meal. Coconut Fiber (Coir Fiber) is a natural fibre extracted from the outer husk of coconut. Coir is the fibrous material found between the hard, internal shell and the outer coat of a coconut and used in products such as floor mats, doormats, brushes and mattresses. Coconut fiber has a high lignin content and thus a low cellulose content, as a result of which it is resilient, strong and highly durable. The remarkable lightness of the fibers is due to the cavities arising from the dried out sieve cells. The best grade fibers are light in color, gold-yellow (fiber from unripe coconuts) or brown (fiber from ripe coconuts). Other uses of brown coir (made from ripe coconut) are in upholstery padding, sacking and horticulture. White coir, harvested from unripe coconuts, is used for making finer brushes, string, rope and fishing nets. Our Coir Fiber Product came from the best coconut husks material with strict quality control according to international client standard.

Shemuel Exporters is a leading exporter of natural Coir Fiber. This is extracted from matured green and brown Coconut Husks. It is then processed into the finest fibers which go into the making of mattresses, door mats, sacking, etc. The Brown Fiber is the outcome of Seasoned Fully Matured Coconuts which lose their green color in the process. The Brown Fiber is widely used for fabrication of doormats, brushes, coir mattresses and other upholstery material whereas the White Fiber is used for making ropes, making fishing nets, and other eco-friendly Products. The Coir Fiber Products like coir foam mattresses are offered at competitive prices and customization of the product is given priority. Our Coconut Coir mattresses are eco-friendly, durable and cost effective. The coir products as well as coir mattress India is now a global name to reckon with. Coir Fiber is of two types brown and white. Coir obtained from fresh green Coconut is termed as White Fiber, which is finer than the Brown Fiber. The Brown Fiber is the outcome of Seasoned Fully Matured Coconuts which lose their green color in the process. Each of them has their own distinct types of applications.
We have them in 3 qualities such as 400 gsm / 700 gsm and 900 gsm. We will use different yarn sizes of 4 mm - 9 mm. Can load without presseing as bales and also pressed bales. After pressing, we could load about 38, 000 - 40, 000 sqm per 40" container.
Coir is a coarse fiber extracted from the fibrous outer shell of a coconut. The individual fiber cells are narrow and hollow, with thick walls made of cellulose. They are pale when immature but later become hardened and yellowed as a layer of lignin is deposited on their walls. There are two varieties of coir. White coir is harvested from the coconuts before they are ripe. The fibers are white or light brown in color and are smooth and fine. They are generally spun to make yarn that is used in mats or rope. Brown coir is harvested from fully ripened coconuts. It is thicker and stronger and has greater abrasion resistance than white coir. It is typically used in mats, brushes, and sacking. The coir fiber is relatively waterproof and is one of the few natural fibers resistant to damage by salt water. Both modulus and tensile strength depend strongly on the type of fiber (bundle or single filament) and moisture content.
Highly Durable Coir fibre, obtained from the tissues surrounding the seed of the coconut palm, is one of the few natural fibres that are strong, highly durable and water-proof. Coir fibre has the ability to stretch beyond its elastic limit without rupturing. Its resistance to microbial degradation and salt water and the power to take up a permanent stretch is unique. Coir Fiber: Coir fiber is 100% natural and originates in the outer husk of coconuts it comes from part of the seedpod of the coconut palm. This makes coir stronger, although less flexible. Coir fiber is relatively water-proof. The major use of white coir is in rope manufacture. Brown coir is used in floor mats and doormats, brushes, mattresses, floor tiles and sacking. Small amount is also made into twine. In horticulture, coir is a strongly recommended substitute for sphagnum moss because it is free of bacterial and fungal spores, and produces good results without the environmental damage caused by peat mining.
