Horizon Copper Phosphorus Brazing Alloys contain phosphorus thereby facilitating brazing on copper to copper in air without the use of flux. Use of flux recommended for copper alloys like brass and bronze. Be widely used in refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing and other industries. Horizon offers these alloys in a wide range of compositions to suit specific applications available in Wires and Rods, Ring, Strips, Wire Flattening, Wire Preforms, Strip Preforms.
Horizon Silver Brazing Alloys (Cadmium Free Grades) are characterized by moderate melting temperature, good brazing ability, high intensity, ductility, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, they are widely used for brazing copper, copper alloy, steel, ingot iron, hard alloy, nickel-base alloy, titanium alloy and refractory metal etc. Flame, furnace, induction, resistance, brazing in controlled atmosphere and vacuum brazing etc. brazing methods can be adopted, they are usually required with flux except for brazing in controlled atmosphere and vacuum brazing.
Horizon Aluminum Based Brazing Alloys are used for welding those aluminum alloys which dont have high requirement for joints. The seam of Aluminum Base Brazing Alloys with good crack resistance and versatility. Suitable for aluminum gas welding and argon arc (No for high magnesium alloy)ã?? Horizon Al-Al Flux Cored Brazing Alloys, high strength, good flow, non-corrosive flux. Suitable for welding aluminum to aluminum, aluminum alloys. No flux when brazing, welding as normal flame welding.
Horizon Brass and Bronze Brazing Alloys have good plasticity, high melting temperature, they can be used for brazing copper, steel, ingot iron, nickel-base alloy, hard alloy etc working with our 301 flux. Flame, furnace and induction brazing etc methods can be adopted. For contain a little quantity of silicon in filler metal for high-content zinc, when brazing, do not overheat to reduce the influences of zinc volatilizing on brazing seam.
Phos-copper brazing alloy is base on the raw material with the binary alloy of copper-phosphorus. It has good fluidity, low cost, perfect processing property. No need to add flux when brazing copper and silver, and the joint has good strength.
Brass brazing alloy is composed of copper-zinc alloy .It is suitable for different types of hard alloy and welding of other metals. It has good toughness, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, etc.
For improved ductility and electrical conductivity, silver containing lower phosphorus alloys also available. The heating speed should be as quick as possible while brazing. The joints may turn grey after brazing, but it can return to the copper color while dipped into 10% sulphuric acid.
Horizon Flux Coated & Flux Cored Silver Brazing Alloys, when brazing no need to use flux, and it makes better welding efficiency.
Phos-copper-silver brazing alloy can reduce melting point, improve plasticity of brazing alloy and wettability of copper, as well as brazing alloy’s strength and toughness.
The microstructure of silver brazing is silver or silver-based solid solution alloy. It has perfect processing property, low melting point, good wettability and good ability to fill the gap, high joint strength, good plasticity, and good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. It can be used for brazing all ferrous and non-ferrous metals except aluminum, magnesium, and low melting point metal.
