During this time delay, the fuel accumulates and then ignites, and this combustion takes place in the form of an explosion in order to produce a power stroke. The shorter the delay time, the more uniform the ignition. The minimum cetane number for oil and gas should be 50. The amount of cetane number depends on the process from which oil and gas are produced. Oil and gas production have a high cetane number and their combustion quality is very good.
