Our preference of automated units ensures minimal human intervention across stages and cleaner and less contaminated cotton waste. We further process cotton waste at our dedicated units to further reduce the impact of foreign contaminants like yarn, polyester etc and be quality compliant with stringent paper mills and surgical cotton standards. Gin Motes AIPL is the premier supplier of USA Reigned Motes for the yarn spinning, bleaching and non wovens industries. Reginned Motes are baled cotton fibers made from gin motes, the by-products of the cotton gin lint cleaning process, which have been re-cleaned or " re-ginned". We purchase baled motes from cotton gins across the world and manufacture them into regins at our processing facility. Our process is designed to produce a wide range of product choices and to ensure that customers receive uniform regin quality, year in and year out, regardless of regional weather issues. Our regins have set the standards in the repurposed fiber industry for superior cleanliness and consistency of fiber quality. Each finished regin bale, after being packaged to Univeral Density specifications is sampled and inspected before it leaves our plant to ensure quality. AIPL also provides an array of repurposed cotton fibers including baled and sample loose cotton, textile mill waste and inline regins.

Denim is a rugged cotton twill textile, where the weft threads go under two or more warp threads. This twill weaving process produces the familiar diagonal lines traditionally found in the material. Denim and the cotton fabric called duck are often confused with each other however duck does not have the diagonal stripes that are found in denim which is the distinguishing difference. Another characteristic associated with denim is that only the warp threads are dyed, whereas the weft threads remain white. As a result of the warp-faced twill weaving, one side of the fabric shows the blue warp threads and the other side shows the white weft threads. This is why blue jeans are usually white on the inside and this is also the reason why their fading characteristics are so unique in comparison to most other fabrics.
