R410A is the internationally preferred solution for new air-conditioning systems, heat pumps, and similar applications. Unlike R-22, R410A operates at much higher pressures and is compatible exclusively with POE synthetic oil. A major advantage of R410A is its significantly higher cooling capacity up to 50% more than R-22 allowing for smaller, more compact system components.

It is important to note that components such as copper pipes, valves, and compressors must be designed to withstand the higher pressures of R410A.
