Marine element are fitted with differnet types of materials, depending on the requirements of the engine or operators of industrial plants. And they are available in both polyester desigh as well as various in stainless steel mesh designs.
The filter element contains several plug-in or screw-in candles, connected in parallel, all with the same dimensions. This makes for a large filtration surface within a small filter housing design. The filter elements are characterised by an especially high resistance to differential pressure.
As with a candle element, several filter candles are screwed or plugged into a candle holder. The candle element is fitted to the filter housing and remains in the filter chamber for cleaning by backflushing.
