It is stress-relieved after welding. The pinion shaft and the gear are herringbone gears with recess, which allow smooth operation with high efficiency and long life. The crankshaft is a one-piece steel casting. The power end is splash and pressure lubricated. The fluid end: The valve seat, the liner, the suction and the discharge flanges conform to API specifications
