F Series Mud Pumps:
The power end: The housing is of welded steel-plate construction. It is stress-relieved after welding. The pinion shaft and the gear are herringbone gears with recess, which allow smooth operation with high efficiency and long life. The crankshaft is a one-piece steel casting. The power end is splash and pressure lubricated.
The fluid end: The valve seat, the liner, the suction and the discharge flanges conform to API specifications

Mud Pump Valve The valve assembly is the key component of the hydraulic end of the mud pump. It has a high working frequency and great impact. Its quality directly affects the service life of the hydraulic cylinder and it is the main vulnerable part of the mud pump. The assembly consists of the body assembly and the seat. The assembly may be divided into a through-hole valve, a three-seat valve, and a four-seat valve, according to the internal bore form of the seat. The valve body and seat of the valve assembly are carburized and hardened by 20CrMnTi of high quality bonded steel. The surface hardness is greater than HRC60. The rubber is made of polyurethane, which greatly improves the overall service life of the valve assembly and the effective service time is over 300 hours. Valve body assembly is composed of valve body, valve rubber, valve nut, guide frame, gland, spring, steel ball, etc. And the assembly acts to control the mud intake and discharge in the tank. F-1600 uses API 7#, F-500 pumps use API 5#, F-800 and F-1000 mud pumps use API 6#.
