Swagath group's pipo ("push in, pull out") modular screen system represents the biggest advancement in screening technology for many years. Combining efficiency with convenience, pipo modules have a completely flat surface that allows more even feed distribution and reduces pegging and blinding problems. The modular screen surface can be configured in a variety of special ways depending upon the application. Ramps, cross dams and deflectors are among the most commonly used " customizing " features. * many aperture designs available. Depending upon materials being processed, any of a number of opening designs can be chosen including square, slotted, tear drop, hexagonal and splits. * choice of surface materials. Although polyurethane is the most frequently used material, other surface options are available such as perforated plate or vee-wire. * deflector rails extend machine life. Our intermediate rails which support the screen deck feature a new design which incorporates a deflecting polyurethane strip. Raw material is deflected directly to the under pan. This prevents contact between the raw materials and the machine sub frame, greatly reducing wear on the sub frame and support structure. * easy installation and removal. The "snap in" design of our pipo systems eliminates pins and scoring of holes in the support frame. To facilitate Replacement, we have created a special tool which removes modules with a minimum of time and effort. * reduced screen waste. When rehabilitation is necessary, only the damaged or worn components need to be replaced instead of the entire deck. * longer service life. Polyurethane is the material of choice for best resistance to abrasive conditions
