Low-e glass Planibel g is a pyrolytic, low emissivity glass. The low-e coating is applied on a sheet of clear float glass by a pyrolytic process called cvd(chemical vapour deposition) process. In winter, the aim of the coating is to reflect the heat back to the building to prevent heat loss and keep the climate indoors at an even temperature. In summer, the coating will reduce the amount of re-radiated heat entering the house thereby keeping indoor cooler. Total heat gain is reduced. Its ease of use: No need for edge deletion Very hard coating Very long shelf life Can be heat strengthened or tempered Can be laminated Its aesthe tics and performance: Neutral appearance Excellent light transmission Low light reflection Low emissivity up to u=1.7(with air gap)
