Characteristic
White/Elephant ginger has large rhizomes/tubers, yellowish white in color with a diameter of 8 - 8.5 cm, a sharp aroma with a rhizome height of 6 - 11.3 cm and a length of 15 - 32 cm. The leaves and stems are light green with an essential oil content of 0.8 - 2.8%.
