Apperance:- Steam distilled chamomile oil is, when fresh, a deep ink-blue, somewhat viscous liquid.

Extraction:- Chamomile oil is extracted through steam distillation process from the flowers with stalks of Matricaria chamomilla.

Composition:- The list chemical components of camomile oil are a-pinene, camphene, b-pinene, sabinene, myrcene, 1,8-cineole, y-terpinene, caryophyllene, propyl angelate and butyl angelate, chamazulene, a-bisabolol, bisabolol oxide A, bisabolol oxide B and bisabolone oxide A.
