Full Opening Safety valve is a manual control ball type safety valve used to stop flow through the drill string. FOSV assembled between lower Kelly sub and upper drill pipe sub. In the drilling operation, in order to avoid malignant accidents, the FOSV shall be connected between drill pipes in drilling process. It can be opened or closed off by simply turning a special operating wrench 90° according to indicated direction.
