Unique and authentic, the Cobb derives its name from the ômielieö (corn on the cob). It is the sun-dried corn cob that was to provide the fuel to fire-up the Cobb in the first instance. The idea was conceived by an entrepreneur who saw the need for a safe and cost effective way of cooking in the rural parts of the country. Manufactured from high quality stainless steel, this ôconventionalö cooking system with all its accessories, packs neatly in to a specially designed carry bag and with a total weight of less than 5Kg, can comfortably be slung over oneÆs shoulder. Once assembled, the outside shell of the Cobb is cool to touch and can be lifted and moved at will even while the cooking process is in full swing! Key to the design is that after the cooking process, the device can easily be dismantled in to its various components which in turn can be cleaned via a conventional dishwasher. All residue from cooking are easily removed from the stainless steel sections.
