Desiccated Coconut is dried white, particulated or shredded product processed from the peeled kernel of seasoned coconut under hygienic processing conditions. It is used in the bakery and confectionary industry for fillings of nut bars, cookies, biscuits, sanding of cakes, pies, and so on.
In terms of nutritional aspects, desiccated coconut contains the same nutritional substances as its raw coconut in the first place.
