Product Description : Aluminum is also theoretically 100% recyclable with no loss of its natural properties. It also takes 5% of the energy to recycle scrap aluminum then what is used to produce new aluminum. The most common uses of aluminum include: Aluminum is the third most abundant metal in the Earthâ??s crust, and the third most abundant element overall. No other metal can compare to Aluminum when it comes to its variety of uses. Some uses of aluminum may not be immediately obvious; for example, did you know aluminum is used in the manufacturing of glass? Aluminum popular features: Lightweight · Strong Resistant to corrosion

In its mineral form Bauxite, Aluminium is the most abundant metal in the earth's crust. Bauxite contains one of a variety of hydrated aluminium oxides (gibbsite, boehmite or diaspore), which are often expressed as Al2O3xH2O but are more commonly regarded as impure Al2O3. Bauxite is claylike and earthy, and ranges in colour from white to deep brown or red according to the nature and quantity of its components. The major impurities in Bauxite are iron oxides (goethite & hematite), silicon dioxide, the clay mineral kaolinite as well as small amounts of anatase (TiO2). Consequently, its composition varies considerably with alumina constituting from about 50% to about 70%. Aluminium content can be accurately and precisely determined over a broad analytical range simultaneously along with Si, Fe, Mn, Ti, Zr and up to 20+ other elements. Bauxite is a naturally occurring, heterogeneous material composed primarily of one or more aluminum hydroxide minerals, plus various mixtures of silica, iron oxide, titania, aluminosilicate, and other impurities in minor or trace amounts. Bauxites are typically classified according to their intended commercial application:  abrasive, cement, chemical, metallurgical, refractory, etc. The bulk of world bauxite production (approximately 85%) is used as feed for the manufacture of alumina via a wet chemical caustic leach method commonly known as the Bayer process. MOQ 5,000MT Supplied from Africa or India
Calcined Bauxite: Calcined Bauxite is obtained by calcining (heating) superior grade Bauxite at high temperature (from 850 oC to 1600 oC). This removes moisture thereby increasing the alumina content. Compared to an alumina content of about 57 % to 58 % in raw Bauxite, Calcined Bauxite has an alumina content of 82 % to 86 %. The heating is carried out in rotary kilns. Calcination is done at different temperatures ranging from 850 oC to 1600 oC depending upon the customer’s application. We export Calcined Bauxite for various applications such as refractory bricks, abrasives, steel polishing, etc. We provide consistency in quality and availability of Calcined Bauxite at extremely competitive prices. Applications of Calcined Bauxite: Refractory Grade Calcined Bauxite (CB - I and CB - II Grade) : To make refractory grade, Bauxite is thermally treated at 1600 oC to produce Calcined Bauxite where the Alumina content is mostly above 82%. Brown Fused Alumina, Proppants and Road Surfacing : To make the above grades, Bauxite is thermally treated at 1000 oC - 1200 oC to produce Calcined Bauxite where the Alumina content is anywhere between 80-88% depending on the requirement.
