This machine is the preparative machine for rebar connection in construction work. Its main function is to forging the end part of rebar to raise the rebar area and therefore enlarge the strength of rebar end.
1, Wide working range: adaptable for 12mm- 50mm same diameter, different diameter,
bending, new and old, advance covered up rebar of GB 1499, BS 4449, ASTM A615 or ASTM A706 standard.
2, High strength: stronger than the reinforcement bar and guarantees bar break under tensile stress(tensile strength of bar joint =1.1 times of bars specified tensile strength). It can satisfy the requirements stipulated in the Chinese standard JGJ107-2003, JG171-2005.
3, High efficiency: upset forging and threading one joint only needs no more than one minute, and handy operation and quick link.
4, Environmental protection and economy profit: no environment pollution, can work all day, not affected by weather, economize energy source and bar material
The upset forging machine uses the principle of extrusion to plastically deform the ends of rebar, increasing its cross-sectional area. It is suitable
for HRB400, HRB500 rebar conforming to GB 1499.2 standards, Grade 60, Grade 75 rebar according to ASTM A615 standards, and B500B rebar
in accordance with BS 4449 standards.

1. Double cylinder, vertical cylinder is for clamping rebar, horizontal cylinder is for forging. And the two cylinders are almost move together, so forged speed is very high, 25mm rebar forged only 8-10 seconds will be finished.
2. Large cylinder outer diameter, so that large torque, 250mm/300mm (vertical cylinder/horizontal cylinder), easy to forging 40mm steel bar, and even up to 43mm steel bar, one of our clients tested 43mm bar with AGD-40 few month ago.
3. During the upsetting forged process, the male mold will not enter into the female mold, so male mold could be large enough. So that it will not be damaged frequently, (one of our clients upsetting forged 8600pcs 540MPA rebar, but it looks like original), and the forged head is complete and full, there is no deviation, so next step of screw cutting will be very accurate, and could increase your service life of chaser on thread cutting machine.
4. The mold is easy to replace, and only need to replace female mold to matching different size rebar, loosen the each 4 screws on the upper and lower molds, (AGD-40L type, press 'Replace Mold' button, then loosen the 4 screws on the lower mold), and then backward the horizontal cylinder to the end position of the cylinder, the old mold can be taken out at the top of the horizontal cylinder.
5. Automatic Counting Function can be displayed on the screen, to conveniently statistic working efficiency of workers (AGD-40L).
6. If you feel that the forged end is not full/too full, only adjust the horizontal cylinder's distance(initial position), but no need to adjust the pressure.
7. After setting the steel bar size on the machine once, you only need to press the foot switch for each time, no need to set it again, until the whole machine powered off.
