What is 1145 aluminum 1145 aluminum strip is formed by adding a small amount of copper element to pure aluminum, which has excellent forming and processing characteristics, high corrosion resistance, good weldability and electrical conductivity. With a minimum aluminum content of 99.45%, aluminum alloy 1145 with its sister alloy of 1235, are almost identical in chemical and physical properties. Its common tempers are H12, H14, H16, H18 and H19.Applications 1145 aluminum is widely used for the packaging of food and drug, transformers, switchgears, automotive heat shielding, food service, insulation and laminating.
