Wild Civet Coffee Genuine Kopi Luwak Arabica Specialty Coffee Beans From Indonesia

To produce this coffee, coffee berries are eaten by the Luwak cat. In the stomach of these animals, the berries come in contact with proteolytic enzymes, which change the composition of the coffee berries. After the Luwak excretes the beans, the farmers from Deli Coffee collect them. Then, the outer layer of each bean is removed, and the beans are carefully clean, sun-dried and roasted. By the time you receive your Luwak coffee, it is 100% clean and safe to consume.

Noticeably not bitter, Deli Coffee Luwak is intensely aromatic with a complex flavor profile that is smooth, earthy and sweet with a hint of chocolate. It is a taste no coffee fan should miss. There is no need for sugar or other ingredients to cover the natural bitterness of coffee.

Kopi Luwak starts it life at 4,000 feet (1,200 M) above sea level in the heart of the Gayo Highlands of Aceh, Indonesia. Kopi Luwak coffee is the ideal drink for visits from special guests, to relax, or just to enjoy the perfect taste of the best coffee available.

Please note: 100% of the coffee from Deli Coffee comes from free-range wild Luwaks living a healthy life. We don't think any animal should be harmed because of us! Further, Kopi Luwak from wild civets tastes much better than from caged animals. This is because the free-living Luwaks eat only the ripest berries and also have a proper diet and therefore the right enzymes in their stomach to improve the coffee taste.

FREE FROM ANIMAL CRUELTY. We support animal should stay happily in this Earth. No animal be abuse in producing this Civet Coffee as we believe no animal should sacrifice for human's wants.

Minang Arabica Green Coffee Bean (Specialty, Semi Washed Process) is coffee originating from the province of West Sumatra, Indonesia. The province of West Sumatra is crossed by the equator and has a landscape of hills and mountains which are among the highest in Indonesia. This condition resulted in West Sumatra or better known as the Minangkabau area, to be very fertile for agriculture, especially coffee. The plateau, with an altitude between 1400-1500 Masl, is ideal for growing coffee, especially Arabica coffee. The sunshine that shines on most of the day and coupled with fertile soil, causes coffee to grow well in this area, so the coffee produced is very different compared to other regions in Indonesia. The resulting coffee can be roasted very well from medium to dark roasts. The roasting results are very earthy and very suitable to accompany you while working and relaxing. For those of you coffee lovers, it's time to try coffee from this area, and feel earthy coffee taste sensation.

Also known as the â??wet-hulledâ?? process. The outer skin is removed, similar to washed coffee, but the mucilage â?? inner-mesocarp â?? remains on the parchment and is sun-dried. Then the parchment is removed.

The swollen white beans enter the second drying-phase. At 12-13% moisture content the coffee turns dark green, a colour that depicts semi-washed coffee. This processing method increases the coffees body and intensity

Beans are completely de-pulped, removing all of the cherry fruit. Then they are soaked and allowed to ferment for 12 to 72 hours before being washed clean of any remaining fruit and dried. It is probably the most common method for preparing green coffee beans. Washed process coffees usually have a bright, clean taste.

This process gets its name from its sticky, honey-like feel the bean has before being dried. Once a coffee bean is separated from its cherry, its left covered in a mucilage layer that, when dried, will continue to reabsorb moisture from the air and become sticky.
