Granulated Blast Furnace Slag
Features Of Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GBFS) Granulated Blast Furnace Slag or GBFS is formed when Blast Furnace Slag or BFS is successively at a fast rate quenched from the furnace rather than left for cooling. It has a density of about 60% to 70% that of natural sand. This material has a much increased resistance to sulfate attack. This eventually leads to better performance in countering acids of any type. In GBFS, no type of reaction related to alkali and silica occurs. Also the material provides a huge saving in connection to carbon dioxide emission which is an extra boon. What constitutes GBFS are its properties that consist of durability, appearance, higher ultimate strength than concrete which is made up of Portland cement and high sustainability level of the product made out of this material.
About THE Product : Blast furnace slag is used in the production of cement (iron Portland and blast furnace cement). Air-cooled blast furnace slag is formed by allowing the molten slag to cool relatively slowly under ambient conditions; final cooling can be accelerated with a water spray. The cooled material is hard and dense, although it can have a vesicular texture with closed pores. After crushing and screening, air-cooled slag can be used in several applications. Granulated slag is formed by quenching molten slag in water to form sand-sized particles of glass. The disordered structure of this glass gives the material moderate hydraulic cementitious properties when very finely ground into granulated blast furnace slag, but if it can access free lime, the granulated blast furnace slag develops strong hydraulic cementitious properties. Pelletized or expanded slag is cooled through a water jet, which leads to rapid steam generation and the development of innumerable vesicles within the slag. The vesicular texture reduces the overall density of the slag and allows for good mechanical binding with hydraulic cement paste. Blast Furance Slag is a nonmetallic co-product which is produced in the process of iron manufacturing, Granulated Blast Furnace Slag is a glassy granular material formed when molten blast furnace slag is rapidly cooled by direct water. Rapid cooling prohibits the formation of crystals and forms glassy, non-metallic, silicates and alumino silicates of calcium. Features Of Garnet Garnet is pure and natural sand. Of the six major varieties of Garnet (Almandine, Andradite, Grossularite, Pyrope, Spessartite, Uvarovite), Almandine is the best abrasive Garnet with the composition of 3FeO, AI203, ESIO2. As Garnet has low content of free silica in it, it is widely used in sand blasting and waterjet cutting. Applications Abrasives Sand Blasting Water jet cutting
Features Of Steel Billets Steel billets result from the second stage of the steel production process. They are hot-rolled or forged from an ingot or strand cast. Smaller and longer than a bloom, billets are usually a square cross-section less than 36 square inches. They are used for the manufacture of all ‘long’ steel products such as bars, rods, pipes, tubes, wire and wire products.
Features Of Cement India is World’s Second largest Cement Producer. India is contributing tremendously to the Supply of Cement across the Globe. The Capacity of Indian market to produce and supply cement is increasing at swift pace. We source the best quality and from the best brands. We supply OPC, PPC, Slag cement, White Cement and Sulfate Resisting Cement.
Features Of Micro Silica (Silica Fume) Micro Silica also known as Silica fume. It is a by product of producing silicon metal or ferrosilicon alloys in smelter using electric arc furnaces. It is a grey coloured powder, pozzolanic in nature. Applications Concrete Industry Refractory Rubber Industry Anti caking agent Pellet Binder
