Mos2 grease is made from 12-hydroxy stearic acid lithium soap thickening deeply refined mineral base oil, adding anti-oxygen additive, antirust additive and molybdenum disulfide anti-wear additive to the base oil, and being subject to special process. EP 2 is recommended for multipurpose applications in anti friction and plain bearings, bushings and pins under normal operating conditions. It provide excellent protection against rust and corrosion and resist water wash-out which makes them particularly suitable for equipment where moist or wet conditions are common.
