After final heat treatment slings with accessories shall be tested as an assembly, multi- leg chain slings shall be tested in sections. Individual sections of the chain slings shall be subjected to 2.0 times the load to which the section will be subjected when the assembly is subjected to its working load limit in accordance with the plan.

Assembled lifting chain slings can be supplied with many types, such as single-leg and multiple-legs, it¡¯s widely used for features of wear resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, flexibility and low ductility. Grade 100 is becoming the industry-standard grade for chain sling manufacturing. Safety for overhead lifting, this alloy chain features exceptional strength and meets EN Standards. It's 25% stronger than Grade 80.

Chain slings are ideal for harsh environments, resistant against a load's sharp edges that can be abrading to other softer sling materials. The chain sling has the advantage of being durable, very flexible and its length can be made adjustable.

Do not attempt lifting operations unless you understand the use of the equipment, the slinging procedures and the mode factors to be applied.

Do not use defective slings or accessories.

Do not force, hammer or wedge chain slings or fittings into position; they must fit freely. Check the correct engagement of fittings and appliances.

Position hooks of multi-leg slings facing outward from the load.

Do not lift on the point of the hook and ensure that the chain is not twisted or knotted.

Back hook free legs to the master link to avoid lashing legs which might accidentally become engaged or otherwise become a hazard.

Take the load steadily and avoid shock loads.

Do not leave suspended loads unattended. In an emergency cordon off the area.
