Aviacap-H2O?? water Detector Capsules are extremely simple, reliable and inexpensive testing marker meant for the detection of finely dispersed or un-dissolved water in aviation turbine fuels. This product helps in avoiding any probable aircraft engine malfunction or failure at high altitude. Aviacap-H2O uses a novel rapid-acting marker powder filled in small gelatin capsules. With its help airlines can easily verify on the spot whether the fuel ( ATF ) is fully dry or not ( because fuel must be free of any un-dissolved quantity of water ). Even minute quantity of un-dissolved water in fuel may cause air crash at high altitude where temperature is very low. This may cause formation of dangerous ice-plugging in the fuel supply system.
