Polylactic acid (PLA) is a biodegradable polymer, it is dimensionally stable, so there is no need for a heated bed. On the whole, PLA works better in the machine, requiring lower temperatures and giving stronger, more hard-wearing products. This Filament is ideal for use in all 3D printers. As PLA is so versatile, it's a great starting filament to use for the majority of 3D prints. Be weary though, due it being commonplace in the market there is a lot of poor quality PLA around. People try this, get frustrated that it's weak and brittle and move onto other materials to 3D Print. Our advice is to use high-quality PLA. Don't just write it off as being not strong enough for the variety of prints. You'll be amazed at the difference.
