Thanh Thanh Dat Medium Density Fibreboard is an engineered wood panel product. It is specially manufactured for furniture and joinery industries. The homogenous nature of Thanh Thanh Dat fiberboard has consistency from surface to core. And its versatility allows intricate and precise machining and finishing techniques when producing high quality furniture, cabinetry components, craft work and flooring. The overall strength and smooth surface of Thanh Thanh Dat fiberboard make it suitable for painting to achieve high quality finishing and provide a uniform substrate for overlaying. Furthermore, it can be worked easily with all conventional woodworking and hand tool. We also prepare manufacture low emission product (E1, E0, CARBP2). Its formaldehyde content of standard grade MDF can vary according to the nature of the urea formaldehyde or other resin used as a binding agent. Low formaldehyde MDF, is recommended for all applications where the ventilation is likely to be restricted, where damp conditions or high ambient temperatures prevail or where the occupants of a building have special needs, in sheltered accommodation, schools and hospitals, for instance. The binder or resin used for these types of product are developed to ensure they meet specific formaldehyde emission requirements but at the same time maintain the overall strength and the smoothness of the surface.
MDF Moisture Resistance is an ideal substrate for kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and any other areas where moisture and high humidity is present. Its main characteristic produced from melamine resin system is an increased in dimensional stability or lower thickness swelling where there is the risk of occasional wetting or prolonged exposure to high levels of humidity. There is an option of having green dye added on to the board. This is upon request by customer.
Thanh Thanh Dat High Density Fiberboard offers good property of sound and heat insulation, which is ideal for outdoor applications. HDF board is free from wood insects. It is not as heavy and easy to be warped as hardwood. Board surface is flat and smooth with natural brown color. It can be laminated to obtain the outlook of natural hard wood board. Smooth surface of HDF board is ideal for lamination of veneer, acrylic, melamine, laminate. Due to higher density than that of MDF board, HDF board has better capability of moisture resistance.
