ULSD fuel is a refined petroleum product that's used to power diesel engines in vehicles, generators, and other equipment. The "ultra low sulphur" part refers to the fact that it contains very low levels of sulphur less than 10 parts per million (ppm) in the UK and EU, and 15ppm in the US (though this is changing, innit).
