The American Petroleum Institute (API) has categorized base oils into five categories (API 1509, Appendix E) and Charin Energy is active in the supply of each of these categories. The base oils from groups I, II and III are all refined from petroleum crude oil while polyalphaolefins (PAO, Gr. IV) are fully synthetic oils. We also offer all other base oils which belong to group V as well as supply low viscosity base oils and other speciality oils such as process oils & white oils.
Additives are organic or inorganic compounds that lube oil blenders’ mix with base oils to achieve any or a combination of the following;
Enhance existing base oil properties with antioxidants, corrosion inhibitors, anti-foam agents and demulsifying agents.
Suppress undesirable base oil properties with pour-point depressants and viscosity index (VI) improvers.
Add new properties to base oils with extreme pressure (EP) additives, detergents, etc.
In the additives segment, Charin Energy constantly identifies innovative additives that we introduce to customers as a value added to their product blending activities. Charin supplies additives within the following functional categories:-
Iranian Heavy Export Crude oil is exported only when there is presented:
1. Refinery agreement for supply and/or refine
2. Crude oil import licence is presented (for some countries required)
3. Buyer's/Trader's financial capabilities and DD are analysed
Our group of companies act like facilitators or sellers - depending on buying conditions FOB or CIF.
CIF supply can be arranged under negotiated conditions.
