So with same tool either shafts or flat surfaces can be burnished. For this reason it does not require to have two other tools for two different surfaces. Tool shank and dial indicator have a special right and left interchange. Because of the modular structure it is suitable for the right and left hand operation. Used either with cnc or with universal lathes. Tools don't require settings and when the tool is tied to the machine it is ready to use.
