Orange Washington
It is the oldest navel orange variety known in the Mediterranean Region. Ripening / harvest period is November â?? December. The climate is selective, hot dry weather, severe cold and wind can cause significant fruit spills. It is suitable for storage and transportation. Its fruits are big, crunchy and of excellent quality. It is an efficient variety. In the years when the season is good, the fruit can stay on the tree for a long time without losing its commercial value. It is a sweet but sour and aromatic, tasty variety. their shells are dark in color and look perfect. The shell thickness is 5.71mm, it is easily peeled and sliced. It is the most demanded variety both in domestic consumption and export among table oranges.
Mandarin Satsuma
It is one of the most cultivated cultivars in the Mediterranean and Aegean Regions. It is known as the most resistant to cold among citrus varieties. The harvest period of Satsuma, an early variety, begins in mid-October. It is an efficient variety suitable for storage and transportation. Their shells are thin (3.37 mm). It has high quality taste and texture. It is the most common mandarin variety in our country.
