The tar coated fishing net will have longer life span, as the coated part prevent the fishing net from wearing, and it prevent water absorption when in the seawater. Normally, nylon yarn will absorb water and it will decrease its strenght. However, with tar coated net, the streght is equally to the nylon yarn when it is at dry condition.
