Talc lump
Talc or chemically known as hydrogenated silicate (Mg3Si4O10) (OH) 2, is considered one of the most important rare minerals in the world because it is important in many manufacturing industries. Minerals Transformation Industrial Company has the right to extract Talc ore. Nour 64) has a reserve of about 7 million cubic meters of high purity and is famous for its pearly pearl colorTransformation Uses : * Manufacture of electrical insulators * Paper Industry * Manufacture of talcum powder for children * Ceramic and ceramic industry * Plastic industry * Cosmetic industry.

We are the suppliers of Talc from Pakistan. we can supply up to 5000 MT per month with brightness 90% and whiteness 94%.
Talc is practically insoluble in water and in weak acids and alkalis. It is neither explosive nor flammable. Although it has very little chemical reactivity, talc does have a marked affinity for certain organic chemicals, i. E. It is organophilic. Above 900c, talc progressively loses its hydroxyl groups and above 1050c, it re-crystallizes into different forms of enstatite (anhydrous magnesium silicate). Talc's melting point is at 1500c. Coatings: talc confers a whole range of benefits to coatings. In interior and exterior decorative paints, they act as extenders to improve hiding power and titanium dioxide efficiency. Talc's lamellar platelets make paint easier to apply and improve cracking resistance and sagging. They also enhance matting. In anti-corrosion primers, talc is used to improve corrosion resistance and paint adhesion. Talc also brings benefits to inks, jointing compounds, putties and adhesives. Alternatively known by the names Soapstone, Steatite and French Chalk, Talc is a clayey earthly mineral. After being excavated from the mines, Talc lumps are crushed and pulverised at our manufacturing unit Talc Powder, resulting from this process, is extremely white in colour as well as light in bulk. This is an important industrial mineral and ensures resistance to heat, electricity and acids, which makes it an ideal surface for electrical switchboards and lab counter tops. Further, the powder ensures longer shelf life, accurate composition and precise pH value. TALC Talc is a versatile mineral, widely used in various industrial applications. The nature of deposit, formation of talc is the index of its chemical purity, particle shape and other physical features. Talc possesses some unique and unusual properties, which makes it ideal for its multiple uses. No other mineral other than talc possesses such combination of intrinsic properties. Mainly there are three types of structures in the talc Platy, Acicular and Granular. Minerals commonly associated with some commercial talc in significant amounts include the Carbonates, Calcite, Dolomite, Magnesite & other Silicates, Anthophyllite, Chlorite, Quartz, Serpentine and Tremolites. Serpentine and Tremolites are hazardous impurities possessing ACICULAR structure. The deposits located in the north of Rajasthan, are in massive form of the talc, primarily with the Platy particle shape with high chemical purity and reflectance values. They are non-abrasive and free from ASBESTOS and BIMINERALS, especially grits etc. The important properties of Talc are its chemical inertness, high dielectric strength, high thermal conductivity, low electrical conductivity and Oil & Grease absorption. Chemistry: Mg3Si4O10(OH)2,Magnesium Silicate Hydroxide Class: Silicates Subclass: Phyllosilicates Group: Clays and also The Montmorillonite / Smectite Group Physical Characteristics Colour is snow white to almost silver. Luster is dull to pearly or greasy. Transparency crystals are translucent and masses are opaque. Crystal System is monoclinic; 2/m. Hardness is 1 (can leave mark on paper) Specific Gravity is 2.7 - 2.8 (average) Uses of Talc Powder Talc is used in making paper, ceramics, cosmetics, paints, detergents, foam / rubber, putties. It is also used in making of precious products like Talcum powder, pharmaceuticals & plastics.
