The sunflower seed is the fruit of the sunflower (Helianthus annulus). The term sunflower seed is actually a misnomer when applied to the seed in its per carp hulls. Botanically speaking, it is a cypsela. When dehulled, the edible remainder is called the sunflower kernel or heart.
It is a tall, erect, herbaceous annual plant belonging to the family of Asteraceae, in the genus, Helianthus. Its botanical name is Helianthus annulus. It is native to Middle American region from where it spread as an important commercial crop all over the world through the European explorers. Today, Russian Union, China, USA, and Argentina are the leading producers of sunflower crop.
It produces grayish-green or black seeds encased in tear-dropped shaped gray or black shells that oftentimes feature black and white stripes. Since these seeds have a very high oil content, they are one of the main sources used to produce polyunsaturated oil. Shelled sunflower seeds have a mild nutty taste and firm, but tender texture. Their taste is oftentimes compared with the Jerusalem artichoke (not to be confused with the bulb artichoke), another member of the Helianthus family.
Sweet, nutty sunflower seeds are an excellent source of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. Sunflower kernels actually employed to extract edible oil at commercial levels. Besides being eaten as popular snacks, they are also used in the kitchen to prepare variety of recipes.

Organic High Oleic Sunflower is a vertical Organic Process, our supplier chooses the organic seeds that need to be crushed, they then oversee the crushing of the seeds into a liquid. Additionally, a large ORGANIC refinery processes the oil into the finished High Oleic Sunflower we bring to market. Important controls and specification are followed by an extensive QA/QC team to insure quality and ORGANIC status.
DESCRIPTION
New hybrids of the traditional sunflower species produce an oil unusually high in oleic acid (C18:1). The appearance of this new hybrid only differs in the color of the kernel shells from off white to silver gray compared to black resp. black stripes. The seed is pressed and then extracted. The subsequent 4 step refining (deacidification, bleaching, steam deodorization, and winterization) results in a very light transparent refined high oleic sunflower seed oil with excellent oxidative stability.

STORAGE:
Keep away from direct sunlight at room temperature in tightly sealed containers (nitrogen topping is of advantage)
USAGE:
The excellent stability to oxidation is comparable to that of a good olive oil and approximately twice as high as with traditional sunflower oil and soybean oils. It is therefore, particularly suited as a fat component and carrier for pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations. Its usage in food: in baker's ware and pastries (un-hydrogenated spray oil), baby food and margarines, as a baking and frying oil (high smoke point). Like olive oil, high oleic sunflower seed oil is believed to favorably influence the human cholesterol metabolism due to its high content of monounsaturated oleic acid (C18:1).

Key Specifications/ Special Features:
Sunflower oil is a non-volatile oil that can be easily extracted from sunflowers. Although most people are already familiar with sunflowers, they don't immediately think of sunflowers as sources of an extremely healthy vegetable oil that can replace some of the less healthy cooking oils available on the market. Sunflower oil is also used in certain cosmetic applications. The main producers [2] of sunflower oil are Russia, Ukraine, and Argentina, but it is used throughout the world in the preparation of various cuisines.
One of the primary reasons for the growing popularity of sunflower oil is its impressive fatty acid content [3], which includes palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, and linoleic acid. The combination of fatty acids in the body are extremely important to maintain various elements of human health, and sunflower oil can help maintain that balance.
Furthermore, some of those fatty acids, as well as vitamin E and other organic compounds, act as antioxidants in sunflower oil, which means that they can positively affect a huge range of conditions that people regularly suffer from. It also has more polyunsaturated fats than any other commonly used vegetable oil, and with the recent craze of eating healthy and searching for alternative options, sunflower oil is becoming quite desirable on the international market.

Reasonable price Refined Sunflower oil
We are one of the largest exporter of sunflower oil in the world market!
Our sunflower oil refined and unrefined is produced from the best seeds (sunflower).
