P20 tool steel differs from area to area in the different countries.Europeans generally use the DIN spec-DIN EN ISO 4957 standard materials (1.2311 and 1.2312), while in Japan steel industry standard, PX5 is the new standard P20. In China, 3CrM2Mo is the P20 steel grade equivalent, which is in the standard GB/T 1299 tool steel specification.
AISI P20 tool steels are nitrided or carburized. These P20 mold steel materials steels are capable of being machined into complex and large dies and molds. Material P20 steel plate and round bars are mostly used in the carburized condition. The presence of chromium and nickel enhances the toughness and hardness of mold steel P20 grade material.

The M42 high speed steel, Other Known Names are 1.3247, HS 2-10-1-8, S500, E M42, REX M42�, Dynamax. M42 is a molybdenum series high-speed steel alloy with an additional 8 or 10 percent cobalt, it has superior red hardness and wearing resistance as compared to conventional high-speed steels. This allows for shorter cycle times in production environments due to its higher cutting speeds and from the increase in time between tool changes. M42 steel costs less when compared to those same tools made of carbide.

Inconel X-750 Characteristic as below:: Inconel X-750 is a precipitation-hardenable alloy which has been used in applications such as high temperature structural members for gas turbines, jet engine parts, nuclear power plant applications, heat-treating fixtures, forming tools, and extrusion dies. Conventional machining techniques used for iron based alloys may be used. This alloy does work-harden during machining and has higher strength and "gumminess" not typical of steels. Heavy duty machining equipment and tooling should be used to minimize chatter or work-hardening of the alloy ahead of the cutting.
