Pup joint made of high strength steel, with a special toughening process. It uses Acme threaded connection, making it with the demolition convenient, fast, reliable connection, and reliable. Multiple seal design and high precision, to ensure the sealing performance of Pup joint.

4. Each technical parameters and performances of pup joints conform to standards of API Spec 6A and can be exchanged with like products internationally.
The API composite thread protector is made of a threaded low density or high-density polyethylene bumper, which absorbs the impact shocks and a steel shell rolled over the front edge, which insures a superior protection against hazard.
The composite thread protector is available either in the open end or closed end version, liftable or non-liftable. The liftable protectors allow moving of the tubes using hooking devices and in the same time keep the tube thread and coating undamaged. The closed end protectors may have an optional vent hole designed to keep the inner pressure equal to the outer pressure. The vent hole may also have a filter, which prevents the intrusion of the foreign particles.
The composite design of the composite thread protector (steel shell and high density polyethylene bumper) insures the protector integrity within the temperature range given by the API 5CT standard (-46 C·66 C). Their design allows easy setting and removing using a tube wrench.
Washover proceed is the efficient way for freeing the stuck accidents during the downhole operation. It is almost suitable for various stuck accidents. When the stuck accidents happen in downhole, it can free the stuck tools in short time, releasing you anxiety.
Washover pipe is the necessary tool for doing the washing operation. It adopts the connection of high strength pipe material and two-stage thread to assure the requirement of washing, avoiding some phenomenal such as the screw thread slipping, leaking, pipe breaking off, sticking pipe and so on which occurred by using common pipe. Therefore, it satisfies the need of the washing operation that the specifications of ordinary wash over cannot meet. For instance, washing the drill collar 8"in the 9 5/8"borehole and the drill collar 7"in the 8 1/2"borehole.
The two-stage thread used on the wash over pipe is a new-type connection, producing in the 80s in America. Especially, the special wash over pipe is a serial product.
