Ceylon (Ceylon tea) - a type of tea, produced in Sri Lanka. It is black tea, fully fermented. Its best harvests are dated February, March, August and September, however it is harvested all year round. Ceylon tea is characterized by a full, distinctive flavor and a red-brown color. It is the kind closest to what is generally considered to be tea in Europe and America. It is brewed by pouring boiling water over it and waiting 2â??3 minutes. The tea production process is similar almost everywhere on the island. It is carried out according to the scheme : tea harvest - the best quality tea is produced from the first two leaves and a bud; leaf wilting - a process to get rid of excess water from the leaves; rolling - leaves warmed up during twisting begin the oxidation process; screening - initial selection and cooling of leaves; oxidation - almost one hundred percent - makes the final product black tea; drying - stopping the oxidation process by heating it to a temperature of about 90â??95ºC; sorting - selecting leaves and separating them in terms of leaf size; cleaning - removal of all kinds of dirt and stems; sensory assessment - tea brewed in accordance with the ISO 3103 standard, ensures the quality of the final product; packaging - the finished dried material is placed in paper bags, lined with aluminum foil, which prevents light and moisture from entering the packaging.

GRADES OF CARDOMOM; 01. Ceylon Green Cardamom 02. Ceylon Light Green Cardamom Popularly known as "Queen of Spices" as opposed to Black Pepper hailed as "King of Spice" Cardamom, sometimes spelt as cardamon or cardamum, is a spice made from the seeds of several plants in the genera Elettaria and Amomum in the family Zingiberaceae. Both genera are native to the Indian subcontinent and Indonesia. The cardamom plant is a perennial herbaceous plant with a pseudostem and thick irregular shaped rhizomes. Dried fruit or cardamom pod is traded as a spice. Cardamom pods are spindle-shaped and have a triangular cross-section. The pods contain a number of seeds, which are small and black, while the pods differ in colour and size by species. Cardamom is generally available in the form of whole fruit as a primary product, in-ground form as secondary processed products and also in the form of extractions of oil and oleoresin as value-added products. Cardamom lands are generally termed as spice forests. Sri Lankan Cardamom suppliers export light green cardamom variety (Elettaria cardamomom), which is one of the most expensive spices by weight. Due to the unique flavour of green cardamom cultivated in Sri Lanka, formed by the country's unique terroir, green cardamom produced in Sri Lanka is known as Ceylon Cardamom. Cardamom's many health benefits include; 01. Reduces blood pressure 02. Protects from chronic diseases 03. Reduces the occurrence of ulcers and other digestive problems 04. Improves oral health 05. Reduce blood sugar
