Glove port is a manual retractor mainly used in laparoscopy. Glove port holds back the edges of the incisions to insert the operative appliances and the endoscope into the body through cook caps. 1) Sheet: opens the incision wider to let endoscope and surgical instruments in it, covering up the whole edges of the incision. It is rolled up and fixed according to abdomen thickness using outer ring. 2) Excision pocket: puts small-sized specimens. 3) Outer ring: fits the height of Glove Port to the thicknesses of the abdominal walls by folding sheet with outer ring, adhering to the outer part of the abdominal walls. 4) Cook cap: helps instruments and endoscope to be inserted into the sheet. Cook caps are divided into two types by color: blue one is used for 10~15mm diameter instruments and the white one for 3~10mm diameter instruments. 5) Valve body: connects cook cap and lip valve. 6) Fix ring: locks up cook cap and lip valve. 7) Lip valve: prevents CO2 gas from leaking till the surgery is completed. 8) Injection valve: CO2 injection. 9) Ejection valve: CO2 emission. 10) Inner ring: sticks to the inner abdominal walls and fastens Glove Port. 11) Removal line: linked with inner ring. Inner ring is taken out as removal line is pulled out. 12) Removal ring: helps to remove the inner ring. 1) Only 2~2.5cm incision is required. Since Polyurethane is more sturdy and softer than silicone which is used in the previous products, Glove Port is not torn easily. In addition, the direction control is flexible so that curved instruments get inserted. 4) Easy to inject and emit CO2 gas. Glove Port has the gas inlet and outlet separately. 5) High-elastic Cook Cap It lets 3~15mm instruments endoscope and even Endo GIA inserted into Glove Port. 6) Convenient removal With removal line and removal ring, Glove Port can be easily removed after the surgery. 7) Flexibility It allows curved instruments to be inserted easily, giving free angle.
