Kyanite is a typically blue silicate mineral, commonly found in aluminium rich metamorphic or sedimentary Rocks.Kyanite is a member of the alumino-silicate series, which includes the polymorphs, alusite and sillimanite, which have the same chemical composition (Al2O3.SiO2) as alusite and sillimanite but it is distinguished from those two minerals by its physical properties.

Refractory Materials :
Refractories are heat-resistant materials that constitute the linings for high-temperature furnaces and reactors and must be able to withstand high temperatures, mechanical wear, thermal shock and chemical corrosion. Kyanite is used in refractories sometimes in raw form and mostly in calcined form.

1. Raw kyanite: Kyanite has high expansion coefficient. Moreover, its calcination into mullite is also accompanied by a significant expansion in volume (20%). Raw kyanite as a refractory material is thus particularly beneficial when shrinkage from other materials and binders needs to be compensated for.

2. Calcined kyanite: Kyanite calcined to mullite is widely utilized in refractory products. Mullite exhibits excellent refractory properties like thermal stability (it is stable upto 1810 C), thermal shock resistance, creep resistance, and high hot strength and chemical corrosion resistance.

Refractory bricks made from calcined kyanite possess outstanding:
Higher modulus of rupture.
Lower co-efficient of expansion.
Increased firing range and temperature.
Increased durability, about three times that of ordinary bricks.
More resistance to salt attacks.
Very low co-efficient of spalling.
Kyanite refractories find application used in glass industry as well as various metallurigical industries (except steel metallurgy, as mullite refractory bricks are corroded by iron slag and are not highly resistant to metallic oxides).

Kyanite has been a supplier of raw kyanite for many years. Our kyanite is high in purity, free from iron oxide, silica, bases and alkalis. These impurities considerably reduce the softening point of mullite and thus affect the refractory properties. kyanite is often associated with the mineral corundum. This is advantageous as it reduces the percentage of free silica when calcined. All in all.

Honing refers to a set of stones (sticks) assembled on the honing head put pressure on the work-Piece along the radial, and through rotating and moving back and forth for precision honing machine.

When honing high hardness and toughness materials, the Diamond /CBN Efficiency of honing stone( stick) is 3-75 times higher than that of ordinary abrasive stone, and the honing efficiency of ordinary materials is also improved about 10 times. since Diamond/CBN honing stone (stick) wear is less, the shape retention is better, therefore, the higher honing accuracy and economic effect can be obtained.

Diamond honing stick is used to process hard and brittle materials, such as honing high carbon steel, cast iron, cemented, carbide, etc.

honing stick mainly used for honing high strength alloy steel, tool steel, stainless steel heat-resistant alloy steel.

zircon as a material for industrial ceramics, refractories (furnace or reactor lining materials that are resistant to high heat), to dyes.

the use of zircon is developing in a number of industrial sectors, including: ceramic Industry, PSZ (Partially Stabilized Zirconia) glass industry, Zircon flour industry (micronized zircon), zirconium chemical industry, Refractory brick industry Printing sand industry.
the use of micronized zircon or zircon powder in ceramic products accounts for almost half of the national consumption of this mineral. In the manufacture of ceramics, zircon flour serves as an opaque glaze for household items and ceramic tiles. Meanwhile, in the glass industry, zirconia (fused zircon) is used to produce glasses with special compositions, such as optical glass, fiber glass, color TV glass, and so on.

In addition, the use of zircon is quite high in the metal industry. This mineral is used in the metal industry because it has heat-resistant properties. In practice, zircon flour is used to coat metal products, such as steel and bone iron, especially dry coating to produce kitchen and bathroom products. The use of zircon flour is also applied in the production of refractory bricks used to line steel or glass smelting furnaces. Zircon is also used in the nuclear sector. In this field, zircon is used as a cladding material for nuclear reactor fuel. As a coating material, zircon can withstand very high heat which is the result of fusion reactions in nuclear reactors.
