Corner Cube Retroreflectors


Corner Cube Prism is also called Retroreflector or Trihedral Prism. In the Corner Cube Prism, three reflecting surfaces are perpendicular to each other, like the side wall of the cube. The input surface is perpendicular to the cube diagonal. Disregarding the angle of incidence, the output beam is parallel to the input one, but it is of opposite direction. Inset of the several corner prisms, for better matching, their entrance-exit surface is often hexagonal. In case of this prism the phenomenon of full internal reflection occurs so it is not necessary, (however it is possible) to put mirror coating on the reflecting faces. Normally the reflection surfaces are Al reflection coating, and then covered with Cu and Black Painting.

(3). Corner Cube Prisms with better surface Quality (better than 40/20 or 20/10) are available.
(4). HR or Metal reflection coating(Al, Ag, Cu, etc.) on reflection surfaces is available.
(5). AR coating on input/output surface is available upon request.
(6).Custom-made non-standard Corner Cube Prisms at any other size are available upon request.

VD ML mode
Calculate height difference of 2 points by measuring the distance of them. And the 2 points need be visible and the laser can reach them.
HD ML mode
Calculate the horiz0ntial distance of 2 points in the vertical direction. And the 2 points need be visible and the laser can reach them.
HT mode
Calculate height of 2 points, and first point should be visible and laser can reach it, for example, measure the height of buildings, water tower, high voltage line, electric pole.
HD HT mode
Calculate height of object by 3 points on it when top and bottle of object are invisible, it mean that the point can not be locked by lase, for example, measure the height of tree
HD / SD mode
Measure the horizontal distance and slop distance of target point in same time
VD mode
Measure the vertical distance and inclination of target point
SPD mode
Indicate the speed of moving object
GPS mode
Indicate the location of the rangefinder

Micro Pore Optic (MPO) is a kind of grazing incidence optical element, which can focus high-energy rays, such as X rays, ultraviolet light. MPO is a type of thin slice glass with porous structure. MPO is made up of millions of square shaped pores. The micro pore size is in micron scale and the surface of their inner wall has very low roughness. The shape of MPO can be divided into two classes: plane and sphere. The planar MPO can converge to the astigmatism, while the spherical MPO can converge to the parallel light. So far, in all known optical components of X ray, MPO not only guarantee the large field of view and high resolution, but also has the smallest volume and weight. In order to get the best focusing effect, we can coat surface of the micro pores inner wall with increasing reflective film, different application bands using the different film materials.
