Therefore, the oleic acid value actually represents the content of organic acids in the oil. The organic acid contained in the new oil is mainly cyclonic acid. In the oil and in the process of use, the acid value of the oil produced by oxidation is an indicator to measure the degree of refining of the new oil. Start focusing on the lowest magnification setting
Once you have a clear view of your subject, increase the magnification to your desired level (you may need to slightly adjust the focus again slightly)
A note on using the MicroBrite Plus in the field: Due to high magnification, the focal distance of the MicroBrite Plus is very short (maximum of 2mm past the acrylic base). It is not possible to focus on subjects beyond this focal distance. Looking at larger, three dimensional objects or objects that are not on a flat surface takes practice and a steady hand, especially since small movements are exaggerated with higher magnification. This is why we recommend viewing flatter objects on a flat surface, especially when first using this microscope.

Corner Cube Prism is also called Retroreflector or Trihedral Prism. In the Corner Cube Prism, three reflecting surfaces are perpendicular to each other, like the side wall of the cube. The input surface is perpendicular to the cube diagonal. Disregarding the angle of incidence, the output beam is parallel to the input one, but it is of opposite direction. Inset of the several corner prisms, for better matching, their entrance-exit surface is often hexagonal. In case of this prism the phenomenon of full internal reflection occurs so it is not necessary, (however it is possible) to put mirror coating on the reflecting faces. Normally the reflection surfaces are Al reflection coating, and then covered with Cu and Black Painting.
