LDPE is a solid thermoplastic produced from ethylene. Key important properties include chemical resistance, moisture resistance and general barrier properties. LDPE is readily processed by all thermoplastic methods.
LDPE is widely used in the manufacture of various containers, dispensing bottles, tubing, plastic bags, plastic film (food packaging, industrial liners), coated containers (e.g. juice cartons) and a wide range of moulded parts.
