PTFE Tubing
FEP Tubing is most referred to under the name "PTFE Tubing". PTFE is actually three different polymer resins: FEP, PTFE, and PFA.
Applications
Applications where FEP tubing is chosen usually require more clarity, flexibility or a lower heat shrinkable temperature than PTFE.

Polyethylene Foam is a strong and resilient closed-cell foam. Viton Tubing Known for its resistance to oils and chemicals, this remarkable material retains its good mechanical and chemical resistance properties at extremely high temperatures better than any other known elastomer. Viton is also a standout material in its resistance to weather-related aging and ozone. In fact, samples weathered in direct sunlight showed little or no change in properties or appearance after 13 years of exposure. Viton's fluid resistance far exceeds that of most other synthetic rubbers. It is resistant to hydrocarbons such as benzene, carbon tetrachloride, toluene, and xylene — fluids that normally act as solvents on rubber, disintegrating the material; leading to tubing failure. Engineers looking for exceptional resistance to petroleum-based fuels, oils, lubricants, and mineral acids at elevated temperatures will often turn to Viton, because most other thermoplastics cannot meet the necessary resistance levels.
Usage: widely used for all kinds of strong acid and alkali, steam, hot air, hot oil and other liquid transportation and packing, also used in work environment harsh coat of wire.
Heat-shrinkable silicone rubber tubing. The inner diameter shrinks by about 50% simply by heating. Heat shrinkable silicone rubber tubing are used for insulation, protection, and sheathing applications. These rubber tubings have superior heat and cold resistance, flexibility, and electrical insulative properties. They typically maintain their performance characteristics over a wide temperature range, from -50°C to +200°C.

PFA Tubing (Perfluoroalkoxy) offers excellent crack and stress resistance and is used when more demanding mechanical characteristics are required. PFA Tubing is the product of choice for applications involving extreme chemical resistance combined with high temperature exposure. PFA Tubing is preferred when additional clarity, flexibility, and a higher continuous service temperature are required. PFA Tubing provides stiffness and long flex-life (up to 500º F) and has all the general properties of PTFE.
In the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries, PFA HP (High Purity) Tubing is used for fluid handling applications requiring an extremely low level of chemical extractables.
