Aluminium Foil based laminates for packaging of sutures are multilayer structures combining layers of Polyester film, Paper, Aluminium foil and Easy Peel film. The laminate shows high barrier against moisture and air. Upon heat sealing the laminate shows high peel strength of more than 7.5N to keep the sutures secure from outside atmospheric conditions. The top and bottom web are provided as separate rolls to be used for online packaging of sutures. Multicolour printing with branding and technical specifications can be done on Polyester or Paper as per design given by the customer.

Laminates can be manufactured in variety of custom sizes. Custom structures can also be developed for specific customer requirements. For development of new product packaging, Bio Compatibility tests can also be carried out with the packaging material upon customer request.

Diagnostic Kit Pouches are made out of multi-layer laminated Polymeric film. The laminate consists of a reverse-printed polyester film laminated to aluminium foil or metalized polyester film. This helps in giving high air and moisture barrier to the packaging. The bottom layer of this laminate is a polyethylene film which helps in heat sealing, closing the pouch, and securing the contents of the package. Customisation in sizes, composition of films used in the laminate and branding is possible. The packaging material is supplied in roll form and can be easily run on a form-fill-seal (ffs) machines for online packing of diagnostic kits.

Aluminium foil or Metalized Polyester barrier layer options are available.

Tyvek pouch and Rolls are subjected to stringent Quality checks such as balloon burst test, seal strength test, fibre tear on peel, shrinkage in seal area to ensure Sterilization performance and safety of packaged medical device.
