Elemi is the gum resin secreted by the majestic Canarium luzonicum tree, a member of the same botanical family as frankincense and myrrh. This tree is found mainly in tropical forests in the Philippines, where it grows wild. It is also known as Manila elemi. About our company: In 1989 Real International Exports came into being with the main purpose of helping the farmers in the Quezon and Bicol provinces augment their income. They were mainly living from their income from coconut and palay produce. During that time the price of coconut products particularly copra -desicated coconut was too low. We established Real International Exports mainly for the production of Manila Gum Elemi. We were able to help the farmers increase their income. Real International Exports gain momentum in the production of Manila Gum Elemi and were able to ship all the requirements of the buyers from 1989 onwards. In our eagerness to emphasize the exportation of Manila Gum Elemi we decided to change our name to R. Cielo Real Elemi International Exports in July of 2011 with the same vigor and commitment to support our farmers in their income and meet the requirements of our buyers. Elemi is our middle name! Over the years, we are able to maintain our quality and reliability of supply thereby meeting the needs of our clients. Today, R.
