Light Cycle Oil (LCO) is a valuable petroleum product derived from the refining process. It falls between heavy fuel oil and diesel in terms of density and viscosity, making it a versatile component for various applications. LCO is primarily used as a blending agent for diesel fuel, enhancing its quality and performance. Additionally, it serves as a feedstock for petrochemical processes, contributing to the production of lubricants and other high-value products. With its relatively low
sulfur content and efficient combustion properties, LCO plays a significant role in meeting energy demands while adhering to environmental regulations in the
petroleum industry.
East Siberia Pacific Oil (ESPO) is a major pipeline system in Russia, crucial for transporting crude oil from Eastern Siberia to the Pacific Ocean. Stretching over 4,188 kilometers, it plays a pivotal role in Russia's oil exports to Asia-Pacific markets, including China, Japan, and South Korea. ESPO enhances Russia's energy security and strengthens economic ties with its Asian neighbors, contributing significantly to the country's energy diplomacy and geopolitical influence. With its strategic importance in global oil trade and ongoing expansion projects, ESPO remains a cornerstone of Russia's energy infrastructure, facilitating the flow of resources to meet growing regional demand.
