What Is the Melting Point for Wax?
High melt point -high melt wax is very suitable for making cylindrical candles, hand-dipped fine candles, moulded candles, moulded or carved gift candles. High melting point wax is very hard and cannot retain its fragrance. Its melting point is 145 degrees Fahrenheit or 63 degrees Celsius. This kind of wax is needed to make all kinds of waxes mentioned above so that the candle will not sink itself when it is cooled. If this high melt wax is used to make candles, additives are needed.
Medium Melting Point - This kind of wax is usually used to make prayer candles and sometimes container candles. Its melting point is 127-145 degrees Fahrenheit or 53-63 degrees Celsius.
