Slack Wax is mixture of paraffin wax and oil originated from petroleum crude oil. Slack Wax oil content can range from 10% to 30%.
Slack Wax is produced during the production of Group I lube base oil. During production of Group I lube base oil, the feedstock firstly has to go through solvent extraction process to remove aromatics and the resultant product is called raffinate. The raffinate is then diluted with solvent like methyl-ethyl ketone (MEK) to lower its viscosity to improve low-temperature filterability. The diluted oil is then chilled to -10�°C to -20�°C. Wax crystals will form, precipitate and removed by filtration. The removed wax becomes Slack Wax.
The traditional usage of Paraffin Slack Wax is in the production of fully refined paraffin wax. And other major usage are for particle board and medium density fiberboard, cable filing compound , matches, candles, rust protective products and moisture vapor barriers.

What is Parraffin Wax?
Paraffin wax is made from natural crude oil,available in white slab and granule,odorless without physical impurity, water and
additives.
Crude paraffin with high oil content is mainly used for making matches, fiberboard, awning canvas, etc. Fully refined paraffin and semi refined paraffin wax are widely used. They are mainly used as ingredients and packaging materials for food and certain commodities (such as wax paper, crayons, candles, carbon paper), coating materials for baking containers, preservation of fruits, insulation of electrical components, improvement of aging resistance and flexibility of rubber. It can also be used for oxidation to produce fatty acids. Fully refined paraffin and semi refined paraffin wax are widely used. They are mainly used for food and some products (such as wax paper, crayons, candles, carbon paper) components and packaging materials, coating materials for baking containers, for fruit preservation, insulation of electrical components, improving rubber aging resistance and increasing flexibility, etc
.It can also be used for oxidation to produce fatty acids.
Property: The fully refined paraffin wax has a white solid appearance with block or granular structures. It has high melting point and low oil contains. It also has features of no bonding, no sweating, no greasy feeling, waterproof, moisture-proof and electrical insulation under normal temperature. Due to the depth of refinement, the products are of low content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, good chemical stability and light stability, strong toughness, good plasticity, white color, no mechanical impurities and water, and no smell. Fully refined paraffin can be dissolved in: benzene, ether, chloroform, carbon disulfide, carbon tetrachloride, turpentine, petroleum, and fixed oil.
1. Buyer issues official ICPO, Company Certificate of Registration, Buyer's passport data page, and Letter of acceptance stating to adhere to seller's transaction terms and procedures.
2. Seller issues Commercial Invoice (CI), and Warning Letter (Optional) to buyer.
3. Buyer signs and returns the Commercial Invoice within 3 working days alongside Tank Storage Agreement (TSA).
4. Seller provides the below soft performance POP documents to buyer;
(A) Statement of Product Availability.
(B) Commitment to Supply.
(C) Product Origin Certificate.
5. Seller's logistic team verify buyer's provided Tank Farm and pay 2 days on buyer's tank farm, and after confirmation of the fund by buyer's tank farm, buyer pays the remaining 3 days to his Tank Farm company to obtain 5 days TSR (This is a proof of readiness between both parties).
6. Upon receipt of the TSR, the seller issues the POP documents;
(A) Fresh SGS Report.
(B) Seven (7) days Unconditional DTA.
(C) Port Injection Report.
(D) Product Passport.
(E) Tank Storage Receipt (TSR).
(F) Authority to Sell and Collect.
(G) NCNDA/IMFPA Agreement.
7. Upon successful verification of POP documents, the buyer orders the SGS team to conduct the Q&Q Test on the product in the seller's tank at the buyer's expense.
8. Following the completion of the Dip Test with result consistent to the specification on the Commercial Invoice (CI), the Buyer provides ATI and seller injects fuel into buyer's leased tanks.
Seller submits the full Injection report to the buyer.
9. Buyer makes 100% payment by MT 103 TT wire transfer for the total product, and the seller pays commission to all intermediaries involved in the transaction within 24 hours after confirmation of the buyer's payment.
10. Seller issues draft SPA to Buyer to review for Roll & Extension monthly deliveries.
11. Buyer reviews and approves the SPA and issues SBLC/IRDLC Irrevocable, nontransferable, auto revolving for 11 monthly shipment value and Documentary letter of Credit or Standby Letter of Credit for length of contract and for each lift per schedule.
Buyer pays after dip test by MT 103 wire transfer on each monthly quantity.
12. The subsequent delivery shall commence according to the terms and conditions of the contract, and intermediaries receive their commissions according to monthly deliveries.
