Application of Antimicrobial to Textiles: We have done extensive research on making textiles antibacterial in last three years and developed the antimicrobial product based on nano silver colloidal solution.The antimicrobial can be applied on garments by using simple method based on Dip-Hydro extraction-Dry for garments, Pad-Dry for textile fabrics, Spray-Dry for carpets etc., at final finishing stage. Introduction: The antibacterial activity of silver has been known since ancient times. The King of Persia during war used silver container for boiled water storage. Silver is still used as a disinfectant for swimming pool. In case of nano silver, the antimicrobial agent contains nano silver particles that get rid of bacteria by killing them in warm and humid conditions.
