We have a supply of desi chickpeas from Australian growers as follows: - We (Standard & Partners Pty Ltd) will be the seller. - MOQ 5 x 20’ FCL (approx. 25 MT / container). MOQ is not negotiable so don’t ask. - Indicative price AUD 1,000 / MT for DCT (delivered to container terminal) Sydney/Brisbane, Australia, at seller’s option. NOTE: pricing is refreshed daily. - Payment terms: 50% prepayment with order by TT, followed by 50% by TT upon delivery of the cargo to the wharf. - December shipment, and load port to be nominated by the supplier on the 1st November or thereabouts, however it is likely to be Sydney. If Sydney, containers are to be made available ex Maritime Container Services (MCS) Cooks River Terminal, St. Peters, Sydney. If Brisbane, details to be advised. All shipping costs including local port changes are for buyer’s account, and buyer will need to create all documents as well. If this is not workable, CFR pricing may be possible. This is basically how it would work: - Contract signed. - Then supplier will nominate the load port 1 month before the shipment period (Sydney / Brisbane). - Based on the load port, buyer will need to provide us with the packing instructions, give us the vessel details, and where to send any shipping samples so they can be tested. - It is also worth while sending us the booking confirmation so that the supplier can make sure all details are correct. - Containers will need to be made available 21 days before the shipment departs so that they can be collected (from MCS Cooks River if it is Sydney load port), packed and returned to the wharf in time. Supplier will arrange the collection of the containers, packing of the chickpeas and then the returning to the wharf (the wharf will be nominated on buyer's freight booking and that is the wharf to which the supplier will deliver). - All specifications of the chickpeas have to meet Grain Trade Australia specifications for chickpeas.
